This is a fantastic book! It is written well, interesting, and filled with a great collection of personal accounts and information. I have read several hundred POW books, this one covers a wide range. Mr. Ash's experience, his insight, and the lessons his hardships teach us are of benefit to anyone. Historically, I found his experience to cover a great deal related to survival, evasion, resistance, and escape (SERE). A must read for anyone interested in WWII POW expereinces.
